The boundary is loose, and some products appear in both categories. Broadly, biorevitalisation is mainly deep skin hydration with hyaluronic acid, while bioreparation focuses on skin regeneration with polynucleotides and complex cocktails. A 2026 systematic review of randomised trials found that polynucleotides improve skin condition and healing, although the number of studies is still limited. Hyaluronic acid injections, according to a 2023 review, consistently improve hydration, elasticity and texture.
The choice depends on the goal, skin condition and age — the doctor explains why a particular product is recommended.
Treatment can cover the whole face or selected zones. The eye area needs a delicate technique, as the skin there is thin and prone to puffiness. The neck and décolleté can also be treated.
The anti-aging treatment takes 30–60 minutes. Bumps disappear in one to three days. A course is two to four sessions two to four weeks apart.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding, inflammation or a cold sore in the area, acute infections, allergy to the ingredients (for Rejuran, fish protein), some autoimmune conditions and bleeding disorders. Tell the doctor about all medicines and previous injections.
Bioreparation combines well with botulinum therapy, mesotherapy and plasma therapy. For post-acne, a good result comes from combining it with facial cleansing and peels. Skin rejuvenation works best when treatments are planned as a course.
Rejuran S and Meso-Xanthin are used for post-acne marks and rosacea-prone skin: they reduce inflammation and even out texture. Deep atrophic scars are best treated in combination with other methods — see scar correction.
