PRP therapy (plasma lifting) means injecting the patient's own platelet-rich plasma. Platelets release growth factors that stimulate skin renewal and hair follicle activity. Blood is drawn into a special tube and centrifuged to separate plasma with a high platelet concentration. The concentrate is then injected into the facial skin or scalp. In simple terms, the body receives a "repair signal" from its own resources, without foreign products, so allergic reactions are practically ruled out.

A 2025 systematic review of 11 studies found that PRP improves wrinkles and skin texture and increases dermal density, radiance and hydration, while side effects — bruising and swelling — are rare and temporary. The authors note that optimal doses and techniques still need clarifying. It is a gentle form of skin rejuvenation.
PRP hair restoration is used for androgenetic and diffuse hair loss, thinning hair, and after stress or illness. A 2026 meta-analysis comparing PRP with 5% minoxidil for androgenetic alopecia found similar hair density with both, but patients treated with PRP were significantly more satisfied. With sudden or patchy hair loss, the cause must be found first with a doctor: plasma does not treat hormonal disorders or iron deficiency.
The procedure takes about an hour. Small bumps and redness fade in one to two days.
A course is usually three or four sessions two to four weeks apart. For the face, tone improves after the first sessions; for hair, results are assessed after three to six months, the time follicles need to respond. Maintenance follows once or twice a year.
