Right after injection, the gel supports the tissue, so part of the result is visible on the day. The gel is then absorbed, and the CaHA microspheres become a scaffold around which fibroblasts build new collagen. The effect therefore builds gradually and lasts longer than many hyaluronic acid fillers.

Vector lifting places the product at key support points of the face along set vectors. The tissues are gently lifted and the contour becomes sharper without excess volume. A session takes 30–60 minutes.
The first improvement is visible straight away; the main effect builds over two to three months as collagen forms. Swelling, redness and bruising may last a few days. Do not massage the area unless the doctor advises it. Avoid saunas, exercise and sun for a few days.

Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse cannot be dissolved with an enzyme. That is why it is not used in the lips or under the eyes, and in high-risk zones only by experienced doctors. The FDA reminds that the most serious risk of any filler is injection into a blood vessel and advises choosing a doctor experienced in dermatology or plastic surgery.
Treatment is not carried out during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with inflammation in the area, bleeding disorders or a tendency to keloids. Always mention previous fillers, even if you do not remember the product — the area and approximate date help.
Hyaluronic acid fillers (dermal fillers) are better for lips, nasolabial folds and the under-eye area, and they can be dissolved. Radiesse is for support, contour and biostimulation. For skin hydration, biorevitalisation is more suitable, and for deeper volume, fat grafting with your own fat.
The skin of the neck and hands is thin and ages early: vertical lines, crepiness and visible veins and tendons appear. Hyperdiluted Radiesse firms this skin and, on the hands, helps mask visible veins. One or two sessions are usually enough, and the result builds over several months.
The amount depends on the areas, technique and tissue condition: one or two syringes are usually enough for contouring, while for biostimulation one syringe is diluted and spread over a large area. The doctor states the required volume after an examination — more product does not mean a better result.
